Our Beginnings
We are an agency which began because of the gaps in services in refugee, immigrant and LGBTQIA+ communities in the Midwest. Our founder and Executive Director, Dr. Clayden, has worked to build our practice to include mental health care for individuals and families living in the US and internationally. We provide interpretation when needed and highly skilled clinicians in all areas of diversity: race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual attraction, family of origin and belief systems. We are deeply committed to addressing social and racial injustice in the mental health care field and in changing practice, policy research and education across the nation and the globe.
